FILL YOUR HOUSE WITH PRAISE (A Song of Encouragement)

cartoon student illustrator 02 vector

Chorus
Fill, fill, your house, your house, with praise
With every breath for all your days
Sing and rejoice in all your ways
And with your eyes, on Jesus gaze

When your heart is grey
When your heart is blue
When you don’t know what
What you need to do

There are others too
Lift your head and see
That need someone
They’re sad and lonely

Chorus
Fill, fill, your house, your house, with praise
With every breath for all your days
Sing and rejoice in all your ways
And with your eyes, on Jesus gaze

In each circumstance
Hearts cry out for love
So cry a prayer and
Send some tears above

For those with no-one
Those feeling hopeless
Let a song escape
And with joy confess

Chorus
Fill, fill, your house, your house, with praise
With every breath for all your days
Sing and rejoice in all your ways
And with your eyes, on Jesus gaze

Then joy and healing
Will warm all cold hearts
Hope and believing
Will remove night’s darts

So fill, fill, fill, fill
Each hidden corner
Of your house with praise
Fill, fill, fill, fill, fill
Not just for you; but
Everyone who breathes

Chorus
Fill, fill, your house, your house, with praise
With every breath for all your days
Sing and rejoice in all your ways
And with your eyes, on Jesus gaze

THE GIFT ON CALVARY (A Song of Thankfulness)

rose flower love
Chorus
Oh! What a beautiful, precious gift
Has been given me
So, so, so, so long ago
Upon the roughly handled tree
The Gift of Calvary

Because the Father loved
As Love can only love
He gave His Son to take away
The sins of all mankind

This love He freely gave
This love He freely gives
This love is not beyond my reach
This love is heaven-sent

Chorus
Oh! What a beautiful, precious gift
Has been given me
So, so, so, so long ago
Upon the roughly handled tree
The Gift of Calvary

I never walk alone
His word, His promises
No more I doubt or disbelieve
He cares that I may share

And death could never hold
Perfection, Purity
Praise God, Jesus, He did arise
And heaven and I sing

Chorus
Oh! What a beautiful, precious gift
Has been given me
So, so, so, so long ago
Upon the roughly handled tree
The Gift of Calvary

Singing songs of new joy
Singing songs of new love
Singing songs of angel praises
Songs from a renewed heart

So join with me, rejoice
Lift all we have to Him
No matter if we’re out of tune
Creation’s voice, it lives

Chorus
Oh! What a beautiful, precious gift
Has been given me
So, so, so, so long ago
Upon the roughly handled tree
The Gift of Calvary

BEYOND THE REALMS OF COMPREHENSION (A Song for the Doubting)

outer space mist gases

It’s true, nothing is confusing
Even if you don’t understand
’Cause in six days He made it all
According to His wonderful plan

Oh! Are you having difficulty
Believing you are loved, wanted?
Is life too much to comprehend
Your heart wants to be enlightened?

Chorus
Beyond the realms of comprehension
His life, His death and resurrection
Bring to knees and sweet reflection
Beyond the realms of comprehension

Are you travelling all alone
Along life’s path of distraction?
Is your heart broken in pieces?
Only God has your salvation

Yes, you may feel lost, defeated
And things may seem backward, it’s true
But there is hope, your cry answered
And a heart of gold awaits you

Chorus
Beyond the realms of comprehension
His life, His death and resurrection
Bring to knees and sweet reflection
Beyond the realms of comprehension

May words, ‘Help me Lord’, be uttered
Shouted out or kept deep within
As long as you are surrendered
You’ll soon be sweet Jesus’ kin

Bridge
Oh! Beyond the realms of comprehension
Just rest in the knowledge that He knows all
It won’t matter if you falter
If your hand’s in His hand, you won’t fall

Chorus
Beyond the realms of comprehension
His life, His death and resurrection
Bring to knees and sweet reflection
Beyond the realms of comprehension

For Someone In Need

For Someone In Need

I cannot be with you
When you need me
It’s not that I don’t want to be
It’s just the way that it is
But know, please take hold
Of this truth
My love for you is surrendered
You are my gift
You were always wanted
In this heart of mine
And now you are hurting
And it breaks my heart
All I want to do
Is wrap my arms around
Your life and protect
All that you are
I release a piece of my heart’s love
And send it across the miles
Praying that it will somehow
Find its place and fill
Your brokenness
And may each beat
That you receive, dry each
Tear as it falls
‘Cause you deserve better
I want to see you smile again
A smile with honest joy
Not one of resignation
Despondency
Melancholy
You are the treasure
At the bottom of my tears
I feel your pain
Know it
Feel it
You are loved
Forever …
It won’t last
This sadness
Forever
Believe …
You are that someone
In need

Release the Joy

Happy Children Jumping
Release the joy
Release the love
Release the memories
From above
Tear down the wall
Repair the breach
Tear down the wall
And into my heart, reach
Take out sadness
Take out grief
Take out oppression
And unbelief
Tear down the wall
Oh! Lord my God
Tear down the wall
And I know You will
Catch me if I fall
Fall when emotions
Come tumbling out
Too much joy
Flooding my soul
But never too much
Never too much
On which to lay my goal
Of loving You
No matter what
May love, peace and joy
Oh! May love, peace and joy
Reflect the golden highlights
Deep down into my heart
Reflect the golden highlights
Of my sweet Father’s love

5 Portraits of a Real Disciple (Luke 14:25-35)

Excellent …

Joe Quatrone, Jr.

Discipleship 3Jesus was getting closer and closer to the cross. People who wanted to see a miracle or get a free meal from Him were mobbing Him. The crowd following Jesus knew who He was, but they would soon be gone. The crowd was about to become much smaller because Jesus started setting forth the cost of discipleship and it’s not a popular message. It requires total commitment. Today, the majority of people who express an interest in Jesus represent the crowd–they are not committed to Jesus and do not experience a deep level of intimacy with Him. In Luke 14:25-35, Jesus provided five vivid images and used each one to teach a lesson about discipleship:

1. A Family: Love Jesus Supremely

The first image Jesus used was a family. Are you surprised Jesus said to be a disciple you must hate your family? I read about a pastor who…

♣ Empty Canvas

So beautiful …

Shade of the Moriah Tree

This is a beautiful ministry song that is well worth the post. I do not advocate all of John Michael Talbot’s theology, but the words here truly depict God Who is the Master Painter of our lives.

The empty canvas waits before the Painter
It waits to be the painting it must be
Unto this end it has rightly been created
To reflect rightly what the Painter sees

A beauty that will surely find its life in its dying
So another might be born again
And in this constant death the constant beauty is created
Within the constant love that never ends

Jesus is the Master Painter
And the Holy Spirit is the Master’s brush
To be dipped in the colours that portray a Father’s love
That the Master’s painting might be born above
That the canvas of our lives might know the Master’s touch
To portray the beauty of…

Bumble Bees and Jelly Trees (A Children’s Poem)

cute cartoon bee vector

Bumbly Rumbly Bumble Bees
Buzzing round the jelly trees
Collecting honey, woops a sneeze
Oh! Hand over mouth, if you please!

Bumbly Rumble Bumble Bees
Humming for joy on the breeze
Honey too strong and now they wheeze
Oh! Grab a coat or else you’ll freeze

Bumbly Rumbly Bumble Bees
Buzzing round the jelly trees
Sweet nectar brings them to their knees
Sneeze, wheeze now gone, buzz Bumble Bees
