For me had an awesome plan
And then Love, You hand-stitched me
Placed all intricately
Blew on my finished frame
New life in my family tree

Then I started changing
Wanting things my own way
Undoing Your arranging

Undid each stitch You wove
And my life, no longer fit

I realized I was wrong
This tapestry, now dull
No more stitches of gold
Just old and drab and null

Sew threads of heaven’s love
And may gold again I see

Glows with all of heaven’s light
And joy forever flows
