This beautiful night, this starry night
The story unfolds, salvation comes
Mankind’s sin, in love, to send to flight
This starry night, upon lonely hill
That hears a shepherd cry
The sheep find comfort

Creation breaks forth
Hallelujah
Triumphant cry
Beautiful night, a new beginning
Love permeates the earth and darkness
We didn’t comprehend our great need
Till opened eyes saw we were heartless

In truth, love and joy, we have this hope
None other could have ever given
Immanuel, Christ with us, He came

A babe fit for His future crown
