PLEASE HUG THEM (My Prayer And Song For All Who Are Going Through Extreme Trials)

Today I repost this, lifting up in particular, all traumatized by the terrible fires in Australia, those who have lost loved ones, their homes, their furry friends, their possessions, their livestock, their livelihood, the tireless service men and women … May you be comforted and even though the winds and flames rage, may the peace of the living God overtake and quench the internal messes of fear, desperation, hopelessness. In Jesus precious Name. Amen.

I also dedicate this precious song to all who are trapped or feel like they are trapped in circumstances beyond their control. I think of the fires, any areas of natural disaster, abuse, addictions, hunger, thirst, loneliness, homelessness, unemployment, sickness, loss of loved ones, any situation where you’ve lost all hope …

PLEASE HUG THEM (for those who are hurting)
Tears are welling up inside
I see so much around me
Turmoil, sadness, unbelief
Too much for this heart to see

Children crying, some dying
Hunger, thirst, poverty
No love given, no love there
Vacant eyes stare distantly

Chorus
There are so many hurting
So many feeling hopeless
So many lost, abandoned
Sick and dying
And I’m too far away
So all I can do is pray
God, please hug your loved ones
Those in need, today
Please hug them Lord in Jesus’ name
And take their pain away

Women lost without their homes
Men despair without income
Families torn, separated
Floods, fires and storms make them numb

Watching death take victory
Among them that are so close
Feeling left behind and worthless
Overwhelmed by each new dose

Chorus
There are so many hurting
So many feeling hopeless
So many lost, abandoned
Sick and dying
And I’m too far away
So all I can do is pray
God, please hug your loved ones
Those in need, today
Please hug them Lord in Jesus’ name
And take their pain away

Bridge
Hug them as they’ve never been hugged before
Hug them till love opens heaven’s door
Hug them till their knees lower to the floor
And with joy they praise and adore

So that is why I cry now
And stand before You broken
Release them from emptiness
Let Love be heard and spoken

All Your creatures are groaning
And nothing can stay the same
Daily there is tragedy
Lord, reveal Your great Name

Chorus
There are so many hurting
So many feeling hopeless
So many lost, abandoned
Sick and dying
And I’m too far away
So all I can do is pray
God, please hug your loved ones
Those in need, today
Please hug them Lord in Jesus’ name
And take their pain away
And take their pain away

I AM NOT A BLOB

Not sure why; but feel led to post this again … if but one life be spared.

ultrasound and belly

You didn’t know I was inside
So tiny at first, unseen
Then small changes started happening
And you’d never again be how you’d been

One minute you’d cry, then you’d laugh
Strange things, now so inviting
Beautiful glows appeared on your face
Sometimes the waves would keep you from eating

Please let me tell you a story
My little heart formed quickly
And within the space of a moment
I was becoming somebody, yes, me

And there are many dreams ahead
I’m more precious than a pearl
I love to twirl in this warm, dark lake
You don’t know yet, if I’m a boy, or girl

Every day I hear your heartbeat
Love compounding with each breath
Oh dear Mama, I feel so cherished
Oh dear Papa, you’ve given life, not death

I hear each word of spoken love
I feel so safe, and secure
With each passing day of my new growth
Your gentle lullabies, they reassure

Then one day, everything, it changed
Your tears no longer cried love
Voices vibrated longer, louder
I heard you didn’t want me, no more love

My heart started beating faster
There was nothing I could do
Can’t you see, feel I’m nearly ready
To be placed in your arms, so close to you

Please, please, can someone please help me
My lungs, ready for breathing
And ready to cry with thankfulness
I’m a perfectly formed human being

Mama, you said that you loved me
Your heart was no longer grey
That you’d always wanted a baby
No, don’t do that, take that needle away

I hurt so much Mama, why, why
This pain is unbearable
I no longer want to stay; but leave
The depth of pain is indescribable

I’m going to take my last breath now
And even though I suffered
I will be at peace; but not with you
I pray that forgiveness will be received

I forgive you Mama
I forgive you Papa
And when, through the years
You remember
And through the tears
You’ll shed
Please tell your family and friends
I was never, ever a blob

THE CHRISTMAS LOVE SONG

christmas decorations

O sweet Christmas love song
The most beautiful ever born
Your notes are sweeter than honey
With golden melody You adorn

You draw the lost hope out of darkness
You heal every broken heart
You seal each life with eternity
And mend all that’s torn apart

Can you feel new life, and faith birthing
Do you dream of being free
Can you hear the melodies echo
Have you found love’s remedy

Just listen to the Christmas love song
And let Christ’s joy be released
Break off the cold chains of hopelessness
Know that hopelessness has ceased

O This Christmas love song
This Christmas
Find yourself in Him
He was born
And your name was sung
Woven in angelic lullaby
Falling from heaven when His time was come

It’s the Christmas love song
The most beautiful ever sung
The notes are sweeter than honey
The chords bound before the world begun

BROKEN HEART, STOP RUNNING (Song Lyrics)

DSCN0083

From the beginning we have all been loved
But somewhere along the way
We’ve listened to distant lies echoing
Lies which have led us astray

Why is it so hard to believe the truth
Why is it so hard to say
I believe in You, oh Lord and Saviour
When we hear Your voice today

Chorus
Oh broken heart stop running
Running, going nowhere
Distance may separate the man
But distance always leads somewhere
You may think you are safe
You may think you are free
But eventually you’ll be found out
Hiding; not hidden, never free

Every heart that has been ever been broken
Broken, and in dark despair
Has a hidden and silent melody
Waiting to longingly share

Please leave the ninety-nine oh Lord, in love
Come find the wandering one
Lay him, lay her, upon Your strong shoulders
Close to the heart of God’s Son

Chorus
Oh broken heart stop running
Running, going nowhere
Distance may separate the man
But distance always leads somewhere
You may think you are safe
You may think you are free
But eventually you’ll be found out
Hiding; not hidden, never free

STANDING BY THE SEASHORE (Song Lyrics)

child looking at the sea

Coming to a place where my heart beats, and is forever yours
I stand upon the shoreline, and listen to heaven’s applause
It’s taken me so long, the sand gently brushed all pain away
For me to finally hear Your voice, and say, I’m here to stay

O Lord, please hold my hand
A little child am I
I thought I knew it all
And now I may even cry
You found me
You brought me
You taught me all I knew
Standing by the seashore
I’ve been made brand new

Your sweet voice was always distant, and yet it was always there
Sometimes, even, O please forgive me, I thought You didn’t care
But now my eyes have been opened, to see what I couldn’t hear
That it’s with my heart I hear You, not with my physical ear

O Lord, please hold my hand
A little child am I
I thought I knew it all
And now I may even cry
You found me
You brought me
You taught me all I knew
Standing by the seashore
I’ve been made brand new

And Lord, now that I know the whole truth, the truth shall make me free
All who I am in Christ, all who I was created to be
You will show me, and as I gaze into Your beautiful eyes
I’m standing by the seashore, hearing Your voice instead of lies

You found me
You brought me
You taught me all I knew
Standing by the seashore
I’ve been made brand new

O Standing by the seashore
I’ve been made brand new

PLEASE STAY

PLEASE STAY image

You washed me white as snow
You took my stains away
Oh Lord, I love You so
Please stay

You held me as I wept
My pain and grief You bore
My heart cried out to You
Please stay

I could not see for tears
All that You’d done for me
Your life You sacrificed
Please stay

Please help me see the truth
Please help my unbelief
Please heal my broken heart
Please stay

(Insert your name here), open your eyes
I spoke these words for you
It is finished, and all that I’ve done
Has given you the victory
In Me, you’ve already won
And I won’t leave you
I won’t ever forget you
Our Father, He sent Me for you
And We’ve loved you ere the world begun
Over your life, Our love. We’ve sung

So now I say to you
Please stay
Please stay
I’ve healed your heart
Poured My love in
I’ve sealed your life
Cleansed you from sin
Please stay
Please stay

YOU MEAN MORE TO ME THAN MOTHER’S DAY (A Song for Anyone with a Sweet Mother’s Heart)

YOU MEAN MORE TO ME THAN MOTHERS DAY

O the sweetness of those words
You mean more to me than Mother’s Day
Touches deep, releases joy
Something only a dearest child could say

Chorus
Sometimes distance has its way
Sometimes others have their say
But still, my love survives in May
‘Cause you mean more to me than Mother’s Day
Yes, you mean more to me than Mother’s Day

Brings with them, sweet butterflies
Of fleeting memories from yesteryear
Interspersed with cherished love
Can sense their closeness, even if not near

Chorus
Sometimes distance has its way
Sometimes others have their say
But still, my love survives in May
‘Cause you mean more to me than Mother’s Day
Yes, you mean more to me than Mother’s Day

Brings a bouquet of sweet intent
And hugs that reach to eternity
Thankfulness for heaven’s gift
Preciousness with a face that’s so pretty

O may I feel your arms surround me
May I feel your breath upon me
May I feel your love towards me
Sweet child, sweet child, of mine

Chorus
Sometimes distance has its way
Sometimes others have their say
But still, my love survives in May
‘Cause you mean more to me than Mother’s Day
Yes, you mean more to me than Mother’s Day

AND NOW A PRAYER FOR ANYONE WITH A SWEET MOTHER’S HEART

YOU MEAN MORE TO ME THAN MOTHERS DAY (2)

Dearest Heavenly Father
I come before You to lift every Mother unto You
And even though Mother’s Day is a wordly affair
And every day should be Mother’s Day in a child’s heart
You are love
You know our need for love
So I lift all Mothers unto You
All who have never been Mothers
Yet have a Mothering heart
All who are with child at this very moment
But are on the verge of terminating that life
All who are with child at this very moment
But are fearful of losing that life
Due to complications, accidents, medications
All who have lost a child
All who have lost children
Whether miscarried
Stillborn
As an infant
A toddler
Child
Young teen
Teenager
Young adult
An adult
… to silence
All who have a Mothering heart
And through silent tears
Are unable to have children
But Lord
But with God
Nothing is impossible
All who are awaiting the news
Of a missing child
Desperate for news
Hoping, praying
That they will be returned
Safely into their nuturing arms
All who are unable to spend
Mother’s Day together
Due to distance
Sickness
Disagreements
Anger
Hurt
Pride
And any other Mother who due
To no fault of their own
Is just unable to share
This precious day
As is every day
Together
All Mothers who have lost their Mothers
As a child
And never knew them
As an adult
The grief is the same
Anyone who has lost their Mother
Those whose heart is breaking
Because their Mother is so sick
Fear worrying how they will cope without them
O Lord
O Lord
Please also bless those spending
Today together
May they be aware of the gift they have
May Your love abound
May Your love abound
Shed Your love abroad
May it enter deep within all hearts
Unto You Lord
Unto You Lord
Precious Lord
In Jesus Name I pray
Amen

LOVE (Song Lyrics)

nice flowers

Chorus
You filled my heart to overflowing
With Thy wondrous love for me
Called me out from every darkness
Helped me in obedience, be

You are love
It’s where my love is
I can only but love You
Because You first loved

You called me
And opened my ears
I heard You call me by name
Sweetness to my heart

You found me
In my brokenness
And as hands of love reached in
I was lifted free

Chorus
You filled my heart to overflowing
With Thy wondrous love for me
Called me out from every darkness
Helped me in obedience, be

You gave love
Cast all fear away
Breathed Your eternal life in
Died so I could live

This is love
Emptied out for me
The beauty of holiness
I’ll forever praise

Love, O love
Two hearts beat as one
This rose has found her garden
Crowned with thorns of love

Chorus
You filled my heart to overflowing
With Thy wondrous love for me
Called me out from every darkness
Helped me in obedience, be

WHEN LOVE OVERWHELMS (Song Lyrics)

Valentine’s Day Rose Love Background
Chorus
When love
When love
When love
It overwhelms
To the point of feeling so embraced
Nothing else matters
And never will

Knowing that He loves me
Knowing that He cares
Knowing that wherever He leads me
I’m on the path He’s travelled for me
For me
I’m on the path He’s travelled for me

And nothing I can say or do
Will make Him love me any more
Than He already does

I hear Him calling my name
Sweet child
I love you

Bridge
When His love overwhelms me
And peace settles deep within
It’s like falling upon a bed of roses
Where healing fragrance silently infuses in

The softness of morning
The stillness of eve
Through every waking moment forming
Love entwined with each new dawning
Dawning
Love entwined with each new dawning

And nothing I can say or do
Will make Him love me any more
Than He already does

He’s calling my name again
Sweet child
I love you

Chorus
When love
When love
When love
It overwhelms
To the point of feeling so embraced
Nothing else matters
And never will

And nothing I can say or do
Will make Him love me any more
Than He already does
And as hard as I try
I cannot describe
The depths of my Father’s love
Being cherished and adored by Love
Cherished
Embraced
Cherished
Embraced
Cherished in the arms of Love
Of Love
Cherished in the arms of Love

Lord, it’s me
Sweet child
Here I am
Ready to receive Your love
And fall deeper in love with You
So much deeper in love with You

BECAUSE HE LOVES ME (A Song of Priceless Love)

Because He Loves Me

Into the garden He went
Shed as it were great tears of blood
And He shed a drop for me
Shed a drop in anguish for me

Carried His cross
Which cut into bleeding wounds
And He bore more pain for me
In love bore pain and sickness for me

Raised in humiliation
Was scorned, mocked and jeered
And He watched sorrowfully over me
Watched sorrowfully in sorrow over me

Endured suffocating darkness, so alone
Time’s sin poured into Him
And He emptied my sin from me
Emptied completely the fall from me

Drew His last breath
Crushed, surrendered and torn
And He took that last breath for me
Took that last breath of love for me

Three days of stillness
Battle now over
And He slept wrapped in Father’s love for me
Slept in peace knowing what He’d done for me

Hallelujah, He rose triumphantly
He still bears those scars for me
And He had suffered to set me free
Yes He suffered to bring life eternal to me

And He followed the will of His Father
Yet being God
He could have changed His story
But He loved me so
Didn’t interrupt the flow
Of excruciating agony
To bring Himself glory

Because He loved me
Loves me still
Will forever love me
Gave of His life
Gave of His blood
Gave His sweet heart
For me, my story

Yes He was pallid, weak
And weakness shook Him
Drained of mortality
But He drank the cup of my helplessness
He lived, He died
Praise God He now lives for me
