GRACE IS THE BRIDGE (A Song of Hope)

GRACE IS THE BRIDGE

Just the gift of Your grace
Is enough, is enough
Though I don’t see Your face
Face to face, face to face
Your grace is sufficient for me
Lord, Your grace is sufficient for me

Chorus
O how You love me
Cherish me
Cleanse me
O Your love floods me
Completes me
Completes me
Jesus, You complete me
And make me whole

When I’m unwell, feeling low
You bless me, You bless me
Send offerings of Your grace
Wrapped lovingly, wrapped freely
Your grace is sufficient for me
Lord, Your grace is sufficient for me

Chorus
O how You love me
Cherish me
Cleanse me
O Your love floods me
Completes me
Completes me
Jesus, You complete me
And make me whole

Bridge
Grace is the bridge
That will set you free
O grace is the bridge
Step upon and you’ll see
Gifts of His wonders
Gifts of His grace
Yes all of His love
Is etched deep in His face

Chorus
O how You love me
Cherish me
Cleanse me
O Your love floods me
Completes me
Completes me
Jesus, You complete me
And make me whole

  1. Beautiful song and photo. As I was reading it, I was reminded of my favorite author, Amy Carmichael. Her writings have been a tremendous challenge and encouragement to me since I was a teenager. I read her books, and while I was in college, I also read Elisabeth Elliot’s biography of Amy Carmichael entitled, A Chance to Die. Towards the latter part of her life, she (Amy C.) was ill and could not continue her “normal” ministry responsibilities. If you haven’t already read her writings during that time of her life, I think you would appreciate them.

    1. Dearest Daisy, thank you so much for your lovely comment. I too love the writings of Amy Carmichael, especially “Rose from Brier” such a comfort … have you read that one? I have had her “A Chance to Die” somewhere amongst all of my books … think it was one I passed on once read … have many of her other books also. You are sweet to mention this. Blessings xxx

          1. This is a bit early…the Lord usually wakes me every morning by 3:30. It is my special time to think of Him, pray and write my devotional. It is how I knew I was supposed to do this…..no alarm clock…just His gentle nudging. A much better way to wake up, in my opinion. 🙂
