COME FIND YOUR PLACE IN MY HEART LORD (A Song for Times of Blue)

Come Find a Place in My Heart

Deep within the depths of blue
I’m lost and struggling without You
The blue becomes the deepest black
And shades of yellow line life’s track

Chorus
Come find Your place in my heart Lord
A heart bruised and torn, forlorn
Come find Your place in my heart Lord
Fill the emptiness that pain has torn
Cover life’s weariness that I’ve worn

I feel so lost, abandoned
As each day’s mysteries, they crush
And with each breath I take, they find
Deeper shades of blue amidst the rush

Deep within the depths of blue
I’m lost and struggling without You
The blue becomes the deepest black
And shades of yellow line life’s track

Chorus
Come find Your place in my heart Lord
A heart bruised and torn, forlorn
Come find Your place in my heart Lord
Fill the emptiness that pain has torn
Cover life’s weariness that I’ve worn

How can this treasure called life
Drain the very life out of me
It did until grace and mercy
Wrapped my heart with Your symphony

O You found the place within my heart
A heart now healed and not forsaken
You found the place within my heart
Filled the emptiness darkness had taken
Replaced life’s weariness with joy given

And now the only blue remaining
Is the sweet echo of distant tears
Flowers and dreams sent from heaven
Sunny days, blue skies, no more fear

O sunny days, blues skies, no more fear

      1. Yes, it has been awhile. I have not been writing as much. I keep saying it is as if the creative side of my brain has taken a trip somewhere while I try and make a ministry decision. I really want to be sure that it is God’s will not just driven by anything of my own doing or thinking. Hope that makes sense. 🙂 Time may separate a bit, but my love for you always remains the same, Dear Friend.
