IT’S TIME TO SOAR

butterflies

You are so beautiful
You’ve been given wings to fly
You are complete and healed
My dear little butterfly

You’re free now, free to soar
To places you’ve never been
Take your vibrant colours
You’ll find life in pastures green

Oh! … no, no, no, no, no
You cannot go back and hide
In the cocoon so dark
The law, it has past aside

You’ll reach the mountaintop
And see through pure eyes of awe
To lowest valley dip
There your hard heart, it will thaw

Do you not know sweet one
You are a new creation
Your caterpillar days
Have drowned in deepest ocean

So … no, no, no, no, no
You cannot go back and hide
In the cocoon so dark
The law, it has past aside

The chain has been released
And you have been forgiven
Would you want to return
To a void without heaven

Would you want to return
To life without hope and light
To a life of bondage
Where you’ll always be bound tight

Butterfly, butterfly
Free to share God’s love, peace and joy
Go touch another
Let your gifts alight
Let your gentleness
Land on everything that’s right
Don’t look back
Don’t look back
Spread your butterfly wings
And with the Father’s heart reunite
Unite
He’s just waiting for you to take flight

Out of the Well of Despair

fountain well shaft shaft
He drew me from the well of despair
Drew me from filth and disrepair
And as He drew me higher still
Into His love, into His will
A new creation was blooming
And I’m no longer assuming
That no-one will ever love me
Want me, need me, choose me, love me
As I saw the walls of the well
The well into which my life fell
Take on the glow of my Saviour’s face
My heart wall crumbled, fell in place
Grows lighter with each passing day
As I am drawn further away
From life of torment, hopelessness
Now (beautifully) forming in His comeliness

Imagine yourself in this basket of love
As He lifts you up into His arms above
The closer you get to His wondrous, sweet face
Life will intensify in beauty and grace

WHAT MY FATHER DOES FOR ME (Song Lyrics)

free vector beautiful flower made love typography
Well, my Father’s drawing me closer and closer
My Father’s drawing me closer and closer
My Father’s drawing me closer and closer
Closer to eternity

Yes, my Father’s pouring His peace deep within me
My Father’s pouring His peace deep within me
My Father’s pouring His peace deep within me
Deeper with each passing day

Oh! My Father’s love fills the core of my being
My Father’s love fills the core of my being
My Father’s love fills the core of my being
Filling me with heaven’s love

And my Father’s joy blossoms all through my life
My Father’s joy blossoms all through my life
My Father’s joy blossoms all through my life
Blooming for others to see

So what is my Father doing for me, for me
He gives All and demands that the darkness flee
And I must love Him till I can love no more
Love and cherish as I’ve never loved before
This is so easy if my heart, He opens
Opens so tenderly
Tenderly
Tenderly
Opens so tenderly
And heals all that was broken
Broken, broken, broken
He heals all that was broken
Healing me so perfectly
Enabling me to love Him so all can see
That is what He does for me

He Lives, We Die

water drops on leaves

The stone which hid, is rolled away
Jesus has risen; we are watching, swaying, and cry
Help us comprehend, dear Lord
He lives, the price, beyond our means was paid

He lives, hallelujah, we live
And because He lives, so must we die
Die to self, it’s our turn now
But all glory, He has blessed us to live in Christ

Surrender all your right to self
Grind emotions, thoughts and plans prepared
Let your Saviour’s power prevail in you
A new creation, tears and repentance succeed

Standing in the power of His mighty, precious Son
Escape the hold of earthly things
And acquaintances that beckon forth
Listen for that soft, small voice in turmoil that unfolds

Jesus calls us, gently leads us
We have no right or hold on the old life
And just as a flower bursts forth with sweet newness
In pain and anguish we are pushed out of hardness

Thankyou for a life refreshed
Thankyou for a life eternal
Thankyou that You died, without surrender
We sing praises to our ever-loving Father
