WRAPPED IN RED … A New Christmas Song

Hi all, I played around with the words from previous posting, and added a little melody …

Wrapped in red, crowned in gold
The sweetest love song, ever told
Born for you, born for me
Reconciled to waiting Father
Cost Him all, this Gift is free

This Christmas day, love, love
One another, ’cause we’re given
Heaven’s love, like none other
Oh Jesus, I believe

Wrapped in red, crowned in gold
The sweetest love song, ever told
Wrapped in red, crowned in gold
Wrapped in red, crowned in gold

This Christmas day, believe
Oh see, receive, His free love, red
And gold, all worldly gifts, leave
Oh Jesus, I now see

Wrapped in red, crowned in gold
The sweetest love song, ever told
Wrapped in red, crowned in gold
Wrapped in red, crowned in gold

Born to die, His life flowed
Then crowned in gold, the stars in His
Smiling eyes, still light the way
Oh Jesus, I receive

Wrapped in red, crowned in gold
The sweetest love song, ever told
Wrapped in red, crowned in gold
Wrapped in red, crowned in gold

Wrapped in red, crowned in gold
The sweetest love song, ever told
Born for you, born for me
Reconciled to waiting Father
Cost Him all, this Gift is free
Cost Him all, this Gift is free

DO YOU BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUS?

christmas present

Do you believe in Santa Claus
Are you following Rudolph’s red nose
Is brilliant white Christmas snow
Blinding your vision
Dear one, isn’t it the truth you want to know

Ole Santa, the world, will judge you
Good or bad, give gifts accordingly
But you cannot surprise Jesus
Born as a wee babe
Who lay down His life in love’s death to free us

Don’t follow flashing neon signs
That may be oh so, so beautiful
Wrapped in tinsels of ‘Look at me’
They line the wrong path
And lead to a scene you could never foresee

Oh Christmas, yes what a season
So enjoy your fellow company
Let Christ’s joy ever infuse you
Remember others
In their need, and may His peace reflect anew

ON THE EVE OF A MIRACLE (A New Christmas Song with Lyrics)

On the eve of a miracle
When hopelessness cried silently
The people’s hearts, they were breaking
Waiting for promised liberty

So many years had passed them by
Each Mother, Father shared the news
But life grew harder, tears fell too
Where is He, the King of the Jews

Chorus
On the eve of a miracle
We’ve been wanting help to come
Others have said it’s impossible
There’s nothing can be done
But just look up, the answer’s on its way
And one day soon, we’ll sing
This is the eve of our miracle day
He loves us too, it’s our miracle day

Then pure love shone forth one dark night
Salvation wrapped in perfection
He appeared; but they didn’t know
He was sent for adoration

Oh! Little Babe of Bethlehem
They desired to seek Your sweet face
Forgive them not recognizing
Heaven’s gift of mercy and grace

Chorus
On the eve of a miracle
We’ve been wanting help to come
Others have said it’s impossible
There’s nothing can be done
But just look up, the answer’s on its way
And one day soon, we’ll sing
This is the eve of our miracle day
He loves us too, it’s our miracle day

When eyes were shut, they couldn’t see
Or know what they were waiting for
Open eyes Lord, that we may see
The promises You have in store

And so it is, for us today
Longing for light in the dark night
And longing for needs to be met
Body, soul and spirit tonight

Chorus
On the eve of a miracle
We’ve been wanting help to come
Others have said it’s impossible
There’s nothing can be done
But just look up, the answer’s on its way
And one day soon, we’ll sing
This is the eve of our miracle day
He loves us too, it’s our miracle day
Yes, He loves us too, it’s our miracle day

SNOW’S A-FALLING, CAN YOU HEAR IT CALLING? (NEW CHRISTMAS SONG WITH LYRICS)

Look out the window
Oh! My dear sweet child
The snow’s a-falling
Singing come outside

Look out the window
The sky may be grey
Just rug up, be warm
And come out to play

Chorus
Snows a-falling
Can you hear it calling?
Snows a-falling
Christmas lights are glowing
Christmas music joins in
And snowflakes are a-landing
Watch very carefully and
They’ll fall, right where you’re standing
Watch very carefully and
They’ll fall, right where you’re standing

Find coat and mittens
And your bright red shoes
It’s winter playtime
Let the snow amuse

Catch little snowflakes
Catch them, and you’ll see
Cold, cold and softness
Christmas love, so free

Chorus
Snows a-falling
Can you hear it calling?
Snows a-falling
Christmas lights are glowing
Christmas music joins in
And snowflakes are a-landing
Watch very carefully and
They’ll fall right where you’re standing
Watch very carefully and
They’ll fall right where you’re standing

You’ve built a snowman
And a snow angel
Giggled and jumped high
But now feel a chill

Look in the window
The fire’s a-warming
Sweet Christmassy treats
They’re now a-calling

Chorus
Snows a-falling
Can you hear it calling?
Snows a-falling
Christmas lights are glowing
Christmas music joins in
And snowflakes are a-landing
Watch very carefully and
They’ll fall right where you’re standing
Watch very carefully and
They’ll fall right where you’re standing
