The Everlasting Rose

vector beautiful red rose illustration

My love, My love, take a petal from the rose
Take a petal from the rose that I gave you

Each one holds a key to the secret gift
Oh! Let Love restore the brokenness in you

The petal of hope
It’s filled with new dreams
With all of My love
Deserts into streams

The petal of joy
It’s filled with new praise
New oil to anoint
And flow through your days

The petal of peace
It’s filled with comfort
Embrace all given
My arms will support

The petal of love
What more can I say
The petal of choice
Along life’s hard way

My love, My love, take a petal from the rose
Take a petal from the rose that I gave you

Each one holds a key to the secret gift
Oh! Let Love restore the brokenness in you

Yes, there’s a petal of encouragement
A petal, soft and grand
A petal for when discouragement
Leaves a heart sunk in grief’s sand

Petals, a petal
Purity, serene
Words cannot write words
To grasp a rose, so serene

So take what I’ve given you
It’s a balm for where it hurts
Let the fragrance of the perfect rose
The fragrance of the perfect rose
Fill you deep within, so very deep within
Each petal, a rose story, red covers every sin

My love, My love, take a petal from the rose
Take a petal from the rose that I gave you

Each one holds a key to the secret gift
Oh! Let Love restore all brokenness in you

A Mourning Revelation

sunflower

During sweet prayer time this morning the Lord revealed something beautiful to me:

In our GRIEVING there is no comfort.

His word says in Psalm 30:5b “ … weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.

In Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted”.

WEEPING (SOUNDS SO SIMILAR TO GRIEVING) MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING (SOUNDS SO SIMILAR TO MOURNING).

Comfort comes when we mourn. There is joy in comfort.

Let’s take the Living Word deep into our heart. He is life and life eternal.

For any interested in understanding the difference between grief and mourning, please ask the Father to reveal His truth to you.

Please remember, should you wish to comment, that this is what He spoke gently to me. To all who love Him, He shows revelation personally. Your understanding may differ to mine.

God bless you all.

SWEET MEMORIES OF MOTHER

Free Daisy Vector Background

Suddenly tears, they fall
Out of nowhere, gentle and small
Don’t know why, if at all
Then I remember mother’s call

It’s been seven long years
So full of ups and downs and fears
But my Father, He hears
And through it all, my Saviour steers

Time, it separates us
Even though your heart remains in mine
And time, they say heals wounds
May heal them; but the scar remains
The wound that was left
At your departing
Has now been lovingly closed
And bound with inner strength and joy
’Cause even though in quiet moments
The silent tears they fall
You’re my mother and no-one, no-one
Could or ever will replace you
You’re mine and I’ll forever love you
Because love never forgets your call

Chorus
In the secret chambers
Of love’s sweet memories
He pours
His love into my heart
Enabling me
Encouraging me
To sing beautiful songs
Like the songbirds
Of the morning
Through rain
Through sunshine
He draws me back to you
And this I know for He tells me so
Dear mother, our love will never part
For He’s loved us both from the very start
And will always through His merciful heart
Fill my miss you heart with your loved me heart

Her favourite flower, the daisy …

From the Dryness of the Desert …

desert stock photo

From the dryness of the desert to the rifts within my heart
From the floods of falling deluge to the tears without a start
From the darkness of ailing moon to hidden depths of inner parts
Oh! Lord Your light, it pierces every shard of this well worn cart

This cart that carries every pain, every grief and every shame
This cart that travels wearily and twists and turns beneath its frame
This cart unto which the lonesome had been bound until the freedom came
And now it’s unloaded and only joy and love and peace dwell in His name

DON’T LOOK BACK (A Song of Encouragement)

DON'T LOOK BACK

What’s the use of reminiscing
If the memories break your heart
Let go ‘cause Jesus always has you
And He won’t let you fall apart
O no He won’t let you fall apart

Chorus
So don’t look back
If it grieves you so
Know that all of your pain
And sorrow
Into His heart
At the cross did flow
Push through in His strength
No matter how slow
Let go, let go, let go

Today’s tomorrow’s yesterday
So live each moment passing through
Not as a rose, wilted and scentless
But with love in all that you do
O infuse love in all that you do

Chorus
So don’t look back
If it grieves you so
Know that all of your pain
And sorrow
Into His heart
At the cross did flow
Push through in His strength
No matter how slow
Let go, let go, let go

Yes, it’s painfully hard I know
To turn off repeat and press play
It often hurts without much warning
And can hamper a healing way
Don’t let it hamper a healed way

Bridge
Don’t look back
You’re on the right track
And Jesus has cleared the way
Just trust Him to use the tears you’ve shed
To water sweet flowers that have sprung up to stay

Chorus
So don’t look back
If it grieves you so
Know that all of your pain
And sorrow
Into His heart
At the cross did flow
Push through in His strength
No matter how slow
Let go, let go, let go

Joy-Drops (A Song of Encouragement)

JOY DROPSWhen one fine day, dark clouds appear
Upon the horizon of my mind
Change skies of sunswept blue
Into weeping memories of you
I cannot help but linger there
‘Cause the pain, it washes over
But He turns every little teardrop
Into a joy-drop for me

Yes, He turns every little sorrow
Every tear that goes unseen
Turns them inside out and cleanses them
With His power releases them
With the love of Love’s love He wept for me

Every little teardrop from never-ending fountain
Every little teardrop from deserts no longer blooming
Every stream of this facial valley that’s been marred
He’s turned into precious joy-drops for me

Yes, little golden dreams of sun-drops
He casts a rainbow over me
Casts a rainbow over me
Casts a rainbow over me
The flood has gone
And I have won
Because I’m kept
In the joy-light of His Son

‘A Wounding Question’ in “Fragrance from the Spring”

A Wounding Question

Cascading waterfalls of tears in me dwell
And each little tear, I know very well
The tear it holds such pain or delight
And falling they frostily mist my eyesight

Each little tear is a cleanse made in Heaven
And pain, loss and grieving are lovingly given
For each wondrous tear in His bottle is caught
And He always sends joy after tears have been sought

Who else but the Lord knows all of our fears
All of our laughter and all of our tears
Nothing about us is ever unknown
He sends healing tears so new life will be sown

But although He hears us, directs us, leads us
Takes our hand and through turmoil or smiles shields us
Who throughout this glorious creation of His
Ever thinks …… WHO  CATCHES  THE  TEARS  THAT  HE  SHEDS?
