ARE YOU LIVING IN THE SHADOWS (Song Lyrics)

sky sunset nature

Chorus
Stop living in the shadows
Where darkness steals your joy
Cry out, cry out, cry out
To the One who can lead you out
Into love and peace and safety
Into the freedom of what life’s about
Let Jesus lead you out, right out
Let Jesus lead you out

Are you living in the shadows
Too afraid to see the light
Are you troubled by your worries
Are your fears hidden from sight

Are you living in the shadows
Is your life passing you by
Isolating at every turn
You tremble, and question why

Are you living in the shadows
Wishing morning, it were night
Crying those silent tears of shame
Wanting all to turn out right

Chorus
Stop living in the shadows
Where darkness steals your joy
Cry out, cry out, cry out
To the One who can lead you out
Into love and peace and safety
Into the freedom of what life’s about
Let Jesus lead you out, right out
Let Jesus lead you out

Are you living in the shadows
The seasons, they come, they go
Your heart remains so cold, broken
Hope’s dreams, you no longer sow

Are you living in the shadows
No one seems to understand
Have friends, and loved ones disappeared
This is not the life you planned

O Dear child, come out, do not fear
Quit being hard on yourself
You are loved, and have a purpose
Let Him save you, give you health

Chorus
Stop living in the shadows
Where darkness steals your joy
Cry out, cry out, cry out
To the One who can lead you out
Into love and peace and safety
Into the freedom of what life’s about
Let Jesus lead you out, right out
Let Jesus lead you out

I’VE SET THE TABLE OF LOVE, DEAR LORD (A Song of Surrender)

I'VE SET THE TABLE OF LOVE, DEAR LORD

Candles burning brightly
Flowers laden with dew
I’ve set the table of love, dear Lord
In my heart where there’s room for two

Come take a seat beside me
This chair’s had Your name engraved
I just never recognized its meaning
Until, my heart, You mercifully saved

Chorus
I’m ready, I’m ready
No longer afraid to change
I’ve set the table of love, dear Lord
I’m ready to accept, accept and change

I’ve laid my all before You
And I pray You’ll never leave
Drink of my cup of love and praise, Lord
And cherish that I now believe

There’s much upon my heart, dear Lord
There’s much upon my heart
I’ve gathered all of my weaknesses, Lord
In Your strength lies a brand new start

Chorus
I’m ready, I’m ready
No longer afraid to change
I’ve set the table of love, dear Lord
I’m ready to accept, accept and change

Plates of anguish, cups of fear
Much to chew upon, You listen, You smile
I go on and on and on and on, sorry Lord
This banquet of mine might go for a while

And then the table’s emptied
And all has been revealed
You sweetly reach across, take my hand
Say You love me and that my future’s sealed

Chorus
I’m ready, I’m ready
No longer afraid to change
I’ve set the table of love, dear Lord
I’m ready to accept, accept and change

Upon the lacework of my emotions, Lord
You’ve opened this heart of stone
You’ve set Your place, filled the cup of salvation
And I know I’ll never again dine alone

O I’m ready, I’m ready
My heart’s ready, the time has come
My heart’s ready, it’s ready and now belongs to You
Jesus, my heart belongs to You

Are You Unable to Move Forward?

rose

A beautiful cerise rose
Trying to fulfill its life by blooming
I found it struggling
It was caught up on its own thorn

I released it
So now it can open perfectly

Sometimes we are unable to or don’t allow ourselves be the person who we were created to be. We stifle our life and become caught up on the pain of our daily emotions and ambitions, what and who we think we are supposed to be. Or maybe we are too afraid to let go. Maybe we are unable to because of circumstances.

I pray the healing release of our heavenly Father’s touch for those who feel held back, those who are being hard on themselves, thinking that they are stuck and never going to be able to move forward, those who don’t know what they are meant to be doing, those who don’t know who they are, who have lost their sense of purpose. Anyone needing to be healed, emotionally, physically, spiritually.

May you experience the Father’s love in every area of your life and may every dream and desire of your heart be opened beautifully according to His will for your life, so naturally that others are sweetly blessed.

My Prayer for Each of You

tree in fog at night

You know the darker life gets
The brighter His light in me
His light cannot get brighter
For those who refuse to see

The days they are drawing
Drawing to a fiery end
Winding down in night’s darkness
For this the Father did send

His only begotten Son
To walk amongst creation
To die on mount Calvary
That we might have salvation

Yes it is true, this story
This story of His story
If you don’t believe me, cry
Cry out to God, be set free

’Cause darkness will get darker
Without His light you won’t see
See where to put your next step
Or find hope, have evil flee

Pray your eyes to be opened
And pray your heart to receive
Pray for His sweet forgiveness
For sins, that you may believe

My prayer is for each of you
That healing will soon be yours
Breaking forth through life’s dark night
’Cause only Jesus restores

When You’re Too Afraid To Open

When You're too Afraid to Open
It’s just another stormy night
They winds they blow
The trees they crack
The thunder rolls
The lightning goes forth
Into the homes where darkness groans
Beneath the burden of love not given
Hearts locked within
Too afraid to open
They’d rather be distant
And shattered inside

Then, to let the Light in
Make Him welcome
Be bright
Bright and singing tunes of love
For a Saviour
Who’s opened the way
For scattering of darkness
Into the very recesses of distant time
Light now comes forth
Into the eyes of the heart

FOREVER I’M YOURS (A Song of Love)

Forever I'm YoursChorus
Forever seems so far away
Mirrored love of times gone by
But one day I’ll be with You
Dear Lord
In forever skies so blue

Forever skies of endless dreams
Held captive in my heart
You’ll send the key
Unlock love’s door
Our hearts will meet as one

Chorus
Forever seems so far away
Mirrored love of times gone by
But one day I’ll be with You
Dear Lord
In forever skies so blue

So I’ll drift into the open arms
Of the Saviour who waits for me
Open arms, which bear
Love’s pain, so real
And Love’s hands, so bruised and torn

Chorus
Forever seems so far away
Mirrored love of times gone by
But one day I’ll be with You
Dear Lord
In forever skies so blue

Forever I’m Yours
So reads Love’s story
Forever I’m Yours
And You’re mine
Forever, forever
No fear
We’re together
And forever is always on time

Forever
Forever
This love is forever
And this love will never cry
Forever
Forever
No more tears, forever
‘Cause eternal love, it never
Eternal love
Not ever
Eternal love it will never die

When Fear is Silent (A Testimony)

(For quite a long time now I have had ‘a silent fear’ about whether or not I had the same as my dear mother, brother or aunt because of my extreme longstanding tiredness and other symptoms – but praise God I am in the clear, the results came in this morning and even though I know that the Lord has not given me the spirit of fear; but of power, love and a sound mind 2 Timothy 1:7, there was always this ‘doubt’ (being an ex-nurse doesn’t help).  I don’t think I realized until now the intensity of watching a loved one suffer and lose their battle, or rather I did know; but even in all the pain I felt, it was suppressed and the thought that the same journey may lie ahead for me, well without the Lord’s strength, love and grace through His mercy …..

Praying for anyone reading this who has just received devastating results, or is still waiting for results. May you be blessed with love, strength and peace from the Lord’s open hands.)

When Fear is SilentWhen Fear is Silent
Underlying fear is often silent
Comes and goes as it desires
Brings with it all anguish, shed tears
Bounds and lays hold with unseen wires

Wires of worry and wires of doubt
And once again the silence flows
Can this heart harbour so much pain?
A glance, a memory, a tune – only it knows!

Brings the fear undone again
It washes in with tides of thought
Thoughts of do I, don’t I, or do I
Have to live with dreams of nought

For how can dreams survive a battle
Waging with suppressed free joy
When a fear is left unattended
Left to scar and with each breath destroy

But this story has a breakthrough
Dreams will surface and be fulfilled
Fear is now gone and fear not needed
As the truth, the Truth is anew instilled

A Revelation of God’s Treasure

Star Flower 2

Just wanted to share with my dear readers something that the Lord opened in His Word unto me a while ago.

–    –    –    –   –   –   –

‘For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.’ (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)

– and this is what He gave me

–  the power is God, love is Jesus and a sound mind is Holy Spirit.

–    –   –   –   –   –   –

Instead of fear we are given everything we will ever need in His absolute completeness.

Praying it will bless you.

He is our eternal promise of security.

Our very present help in time of need.

Intensify my love for Thee,
Upon the misty shore,
Where Thou once walked with Divine footprints,
And left me desperately searching for more.

How can I follow Thee … at that,
Thy firmest plea of command?
Found in precious words of the Word,
(I need to see the way Thou hast taken),
To follow and there I’ll stand.

Help me Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
No fear given, no fear of any kind,
Clothed me so lovingly with priceless wonders,
Power, love and a disciplined mind.

‘For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline.’ 2 Timothy 1:7 American Standard Version (1901)

‘There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath punishment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love, because He first loved us.’ 1 John 4:18-19  American Standard Version (1901)
