PLEASE STAY

PLEASE STAY image

You washed me white as snow
You took my stains away
Oh Lord, I love You so
Please stay

You held me as I wept
My pain and grief You bore
My heart cried out to You
Please stay

I could not see for tears
All that You’d done for me
Your life You sacrificed
Please stay

Please help me see the truth
Please help my unbelief
Please heal my broken heart
Please stay

(Insert your name here), open your eyes
I spoke these words for you
It is finished, and all that I’ve done
Has given you the victory
In Me, you’ve already won
And I won’t leave you
I won’t ever forget you
Our Father, He sent Me for you
And We’ve loved you ere the world begun
Over your life, Our love. We’ve sung

So now I say to you
Please stay
Please stay
I’ve healed your heart
Poured My love in
I’ve sealed your life
Cleansed you from sin
Please stay
Please stay

LOVE (Song Lyrics)

nice flowers

Chorus
You filled my heart to overflowing
With Thy wondrous love for me
Called me out from every darkness
Helped me in obedience, be

You are love
It’s where my love is
I can only but love You
Because You first loved

You called me
And opened my ears
I heard You call me by name
Sweetness to my heart

You found me
In my brokenness
And as hands of love reached in
I was lifted free

Chorus
You filled my heart to overflowing
With Thy wondrous love for me
Called me out from every darkness
Helped me in obedience, be

You gave love
Cast all fear away
Breathed Your eternal life in
Died so I could live

This is love
Emptied out for me
The beauty of holiness
I’ll forever praise

Love, O love
Two hearts beat as one
This rose has found her garden
Crowned with thorns of love

Chorus
You filled my heart to overflowing
With Thy wondrous love for me
Called me out from every darkness
Helped me in obedience, be

BECAUSE HE LOVES ME (A Song of Priceless Love)

Because He Loves Me

Into the garden He went
Shed as it were great tears of blood
And He shed a drop for me
Shed a drop in anguish for me

Carried His cross
Which cut into bleeding wounds
And He bore more pain for me
In love bore pain and sickness for me

Raised in humiliation
Was scorned, mocked and jeered
And He watched sorrowfully over me
Watched sorrowfully in sorrow over me

Endured suffocating darkness, so alone
Time’s sin poured into Him
And He emptied my sin from me
Emptied completely the fall from me

Drew His last breath
Crushed, surrendered and torn
And He took that last breath for me
Took that last breath of love for me

Three days of stillness
Battle now over
And He slept wrapped in Father’s love for me
Slept in peace knowing what He’d done for me

Hallelujah, He rose triumphantly
He still bears those scars for me
And He had suffered to set me free
Yes He suffered to bring life eternal to me

And He followed the will of His Father
Yet being God
He could have changed His story
But He loved me so
Didn’t interrupt the flow
Of excruciating agony
To bring Himself glory

Because He loved me
Loves me still
Will forever love me
Gave of His life
Gave of His blood
Gave His sweet heart
For me, my story

Yes He was pallid, weak
And weakness shook Him
Drained of mortality
But He drank the cup of my helplessness
He lived, He died
Praise God He now lives for me

THE ROSE IN MY GARDEN (Song Lyrics)

red rose

There’s a rose in my garden
Radiating the Saviour’s blood
And with dying thorns, it shadows
Flooding hearts, with Father’s love

Come sit beside the rose
Come humbly, bow your head
Let fragrance emitted
Dry all the tears you’ve shed

Reach out, touch the softness
It opened just for you
And like hands from above
Says, come, I’ll make you new

My thorns will not pierce you
For they’ve already pierced
The life of dear Jesus
Upon His head they laid

There’s a rose in my garden
Radiating the Saviour’s blood
And with dying thorns, it shadows
Flooding hearts, with Father’s love

In His dying body
Infused with so much pain
He took all your sorrows
So you, His life, could gain

But death, it could not hold
The perfect Son of God
He’s risen, He’s risen
The dark grave could not hold

So don’t you be frightened
Of any thorny trial
All pain has been removed
Love pours from Calvary’s hill

Jesus, came to save
Jesus, came to heal
Jesus, died so we
Could in His presence, kneel

There’s a rose in my garden
Radiating the Saviour’s blood
And with dying thorns, it shadows
Flooding hearts, with Father’s love

YOU’RE ALMOST THERE (SONG LYRICS)

woman running

One day, so very soon
Joy is going to break forth
Release will come
It’s waiting
For you to just let go

It’s climbed the highest mountains
Pushed through rugged forest floors
Sailed the stormy waters
So far from distant shores

Seen driest desert regions
Where the flowers couldn’t bloom
Felt deepest darkness where
No birdsong broke the gloom

Listened to the silent voice
Cried out for deliverance
And waited patiently
To break forth in joy’s dance

Days and days and years, still more
When will unending trials end
Very soon, very soon
To you, healing I send

One day, so very soon
Joy is going to break forth
Release will come
It’s waiting
For you to just let go

Let go, My child, let go, and
Open wide your heart to Me
I sent My Word to heal
Now receive Calvary

JESUS HAS MY DESTINY (Song Lyrics)

red valentine heart on dot background vector image

I have all things I need in me
All I was created to be
Nothing lacking and this I see
’Cause Jesus has my destiny

Yes Jesus has my destiny
He’s paid the price and set me free
Love forever, He’s captured me
And through cleansed eyes, I now can see

Yes through cleansed eyes, I now can see
How Jesus paid the penalty
Once I played disobediently
On life’s road, it disgusted me

On life’s road, it disgusted me
How I could live so carelessly
Praise God, He nailed it to the tree
Triumphantly, at Calvary

Triumphantly, at Calvary
My old life has abandoned me
Now living life has flooded me
’Cause Jesus has my destiny

Yes Jesus has my destiny
My destiny, my destiny
Yes Jesus came to rescue me
With all heaven’s sovereignty

I have all things I need in me
All I was created to be
Nothing lacking and this I see
’Cause Jesus has my destiny

MY LIFE, IT PIERCED YOUR HEART (A Song of the Cross)

Calvary Silhoettte

I stood there at the crossroads
Not knowing which way to turn
Follow the wide, wide road to pleasure
Or step onto the narrow way and of You Jesus, learn

My heart, it beat so loudly
I’m sure the angels could hear
Everyone was moving so quickly
Oh! My soul, make a decision, you have nothing to fear

Chorus
And as You hung there
You took a breath for me
You watched me turn away
It was more than I could bear
Deep within Your heart, a tear fell silently
But You knew that one day I would come to understand
How my life, it had pierced Your heart
Oh! How it had pierced Your heart
And sweet love then tore it apart

Nothing to fear on the narrow
Nothing to fear in Your steps
Just follow the light of Your glory
Fall into Your waiting arms and feel the love in its depths

But the wide road looks clearer
I see around the corner
The narrow way is dark and hidden
If I step on, I might not be able to go further

Chorus
And as You hung there
You took a breath for me
You watched me turn away
It was more than I could bear
Deep within Your heart, a tear fell silently
But You knew that one day I would come to understand
How my life, it had pierced Your heart
Oh! How it had pierced Your heart
And sweet love then tore it apart

Then I heard a still small voice
And the Lord, He took my hand
He helped me take my very first step
Along the now lit, flower strewn way to the Promised Land

Chorus
And as You hung there
You took a breath for me
You watched me turn away
It was more than I could bear
Deep within Your heart, a tear fell silently
But You knew that one day I would come to understand
How my life, it had pierced Your heart
Oh! How it had pierced Your heart
And sweet love then tore it apart

And my burdens, they lifted
As the path before me cleared
Now my eyes could beautifully see
And I listened to angelic songs, like I’d never heard

0h! Jesus, my dear Saviour
Thank you for rescuing me
I’m no longer at the world’s crossroads
Life and peace, love and joy have now drawn me eternally

Yes I pierced Your heart
And my back was turned on You
I totally ignored You
As I went about my day
But You breathed Your dying love
Upon me and opened up my heart
Allowing me to receive all things
All things You now impart
And so I thank you
From the bottom of this new, new heart
This heart You’ve washed and comforted
This heart that cries ‘Thou Art’
I cannot ever fathom
Why You would love me so
But I am ever thankful
Oh! Lord, I love you so
I just want You to know
I just want You, want You to know

THE ROCK WAS STRUCK

water over ice

The Rock was struck, and out flew living water
The Rock was struck, and heaven’s treasures released
How wonderful to the dry parchèd pilgrim
Struggling to lift foot, because pride was increased

The Rock was struck, oh mercy and grace floweth
Man brought low; reluctant eyes summoned above
Heart whining; but body, provision kept whole
Refreshing streams soon quenched, abundant in love

The Rock was struck
The people cried
No more on self
Could one rely
The Rock was struck
But was it so
’Twas commanded
Say to this Rock
Anger prevailed
And promised land
Past veiled eyes sailed

The Rock was struck, instant relief was brought forth
But after awhile, stiff neck, hardened heart whined
We’re all the same, when one truly considers
Are we satisfied, or are we all just blind

The Rock was struck for you, upon Calvary’s tree
The Rock was struck for me, upon Calvary’s tree
This time though, out poured living water and life
Today, hear the truth people, and be set free

The Rock was struck
The people cried
No more on self
Could one rely
The Rock was struck
But was it so
’Twas commanded
Repent, believe
Sorrow prevailed
And promised land
His life, inhaled

1 Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.

2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.

3 And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the Lord!

4 And why have ye brought up the congregation of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?

5 And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.

6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them.

7 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

8 Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

9 And Moses took the rod from before the Lord, as He commanded him.

10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

12 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed Me not, to sanctify Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

13 This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the Lord, and he was sanctified in them.

Numbers 20:1-13

Fields of Plenty

Fields of Plenty

Fields of plenty are mine to adore
And blessings surround me, of this I am sure
Fed from the True Vine for evermore
All this because I opened the door

The door of my heart, where I heard a knocking
And who was without – the sovereign, divine King
Oh! He has entered for me, my very heart’s asking
Brought His Word to my life and now I can sing

Sing of His wondrous works done for me
Sing for He’s made me His for all eternity
Sing when I’m joyous or in sorrow on bended knee
Sing of His righteousness He fastened to that tree

On that tree that was laden with His misery of mocking
Little flowers lay waiting to soak up His loving
And where the blood was poured with bruising and hurting
Sprung up precious fields of plenty for me, all believing

The Little Seed With the Biggest Heart (An Easter Poem for All Ages)

symphony butterfly tree vector

The little seed slept by itself
Not sure where life would lead
Little did it know that one day soon
It would be planted, and humanity freed

That little seed, all bound and safe
Beneath the crumbling earth
Held captive in its memory
The story of our dear Saviour’s birth

It had laid silently, watching on
As days and years passed by
Awaiting its moment of beautiful glory
Before the world, when every heart would sigh

You see, that little, humble seed
Would soon be sown and grow
Into the most precious tree
Upon which love would eternally flow

Up and up and up it grew
And no-one paid attention
But that little seed with the biggest heart
Soon had a purpose within the story of salvation

’Cause it was cut down in its prime
And formed into the well known cross
Carrying mankind’s sins upon it
Feeling the pain of wounded blood loss

But even though that little seed
That became the most famous tree
Felt none of the turmoil, torture, rejection
It held in its arms … sweet mercy and grace for me

So as you remember what you’ve been shown
How Jesus died for everyone
Please know that only in receiving His forgiveness
Will your life be free, and victory won
