I SEE YOUR LOVE

I see Your love in the morning light
Shining through the leaves
The birds are singing
It’s fresh new day
I love You Lord
Please light my way

I see Your love in the noon-day sun
Warmth upon my skin
Flowers glistening
Dew invisible
I love You Lord
Your love fills full

I see Your love in the night-time breeze
Softness, sunset hues
Silhouettes scatter
Deep echoes calling
I love You Lord
All forgiving

I see Your love all day and night long
Always by my side
Through the joys and tears
Eyes deflecting strife
I love You Lord
For my sweet life

HOW CAN WE SAY THERE IS NO GOD (Song Lyrics)

Chorus
How can we say there is no God
We do
I did
There is
Forgive us Lord
We do not know
The lies we hear and listen to

Step back my friend, I speak in love
Look closely with your covered eyes
Not at what you think you can see
You’ll find answers for all your whys

There’s so much beauty all around
And abundant joy to behold
Gather near and I will show you
May the truth begin to unfold

I have to start with the roses
They sometimes take my breath away
To think that in the strips of green
Sweet blossoms will soon have their day

Rolling meadows and endless seas
Mountains grand and valleys so low
Hidden wonders trapped in whiteness
Awaiting springtime warmth and glow

Chorus
How can we say there is no God
We do
I did
There is
Forgive us Lord
We do not know
The lies that we hear and listen to

Love’s eyes captured in purity
Colours flowing effortlessly
Touching every living creature
The flame and fire of autumn’s tree

Greyness hides the illusive sign
Of promise made so long ago
Captured hearts once cold and broken
Into nothingness seed will sow

Icy winds, relentless swelter
Can bring tears for each living need
Some ask how can such grief, sadness
Supply love and to each one feed

Reality, reality
Yes, there is pain, oh! so much pain
One way will break the hopelessness
May tears rust away darkness’ chain

Chorus
How can we say there is no God
We do
I did
There is
Forgive us Lord
We do not know
The lies that we hear and listen to

Now back to those fragrant roses
Please look at petals delicate
The softness that you can witness
Were brought forth by One who was cut

Cut down in the prime of His life
By all not believing God’s word
In that Jesus came to save us
That He is our Saviour, our Lord

We must believe totality
Of all that He’s spoken and done
Open those eyes of confusion
Eternal life for you has been won

Won at the cross, won at the cross
Know you are so precious and loved
Cry to Him to reveal Himself
You’ll be eternally beloved

Chorus
How can we say there is no God
We do
I did
There is
Forgive us Lord
We do not know
The lies that we hear and listen to

NO ONE CAN LOVE YOU MORE (A Love Song)

NO ONE CAN LOVE YOU MORE

He sprinkles the heavens with stardust
And sometimes it falls to earth in your eyes
‘cause the joy within, from knowing Him
No darkness can disguise

He adorns the sweet meadows with dew
And sometimes it finds its way to your eyes
‘cause the pain within, from His suffering
No sunlight can disguise

Chorus
Cherish the One who loves you
Cherish the One you adore
Cherish the One who surrounds you
No one can love you more

He crowns the mighty oceans with pearls
And sometimes their pure essence clouds your eyes
‘cause the glow of His perfect beauty
No hatred can disguise

He sings over every newborn child
And sometimes the sweet melodies break free
‘cause I can now hear them in your love
Singing softly over me

Chorus
Cherish the One who loves you
Cherish the One you adore
Cherish the One who surrounds you
No one can love you more

Oh! Cherish the One who loves you
Don’t ever question why
Just trust the God of miracles
He’ll love you till your tears run dry

Chorus
Yes, cherish the One who loves you
Cherish the One you adore
Cherish the One who surrounds you
No one can love you more

The Vastness of His Beauty

The Vastness of His Beauty (2)Little known petals of sweetest fragrance
Peaked mountains etched with dew
Remind me of the beauty
Only found in You

Flying colours singing
Love and joy shed around
Notes of harmonious melodies
Shatter piercing sound

Wondrous looks of creation
Eye meets eye meets eye
Eyelash flutters so briefly
True love captured if you try

Unfurling lace on forest floor
Brisk essence does surround
Fawn highlights scamper here and there
Tall statues do abound

Shallows do not hinder
What belies the deep
Swells, turbulent, placid
Hide a tapestry that can make you weep

Vastness of golden dunes prevail
And little critters dance and play
Tufts of greenness scatter horizons
Pools of reflection at end of day

Crisp footsteps in the fallen snow
Little robins trill songs to me
Songs of a winter childhood so long ago
Lord, Your hand displays all, for all to see

The Vastness of His BeautyAMAZING KANGAROOS IN OUR FRONT LAWN … SEE MANY OF THEM NOW AS THEIR HABITAT BEHIND US HAS BEEN MADE INTO A PARK AND ONLY A SMALL SECTION HAS BEEN CORDENED OFF FOR THEM … SO SAD SEEING THEM SO CLOSE TO ROAD.

Grace to Wait

Grace to WaitSee the flowers at eventide
Gently tilt their head
Waiting for my Saviour’s love
With morning His light to shed

Life of petals softly surrendered
To the unknown of darkest night
Fragrance still flows sweetly though
Buds are wrapped in heavenly light

Then the rays of morningtide
Pour warmth upon His art
And little creatures of His creation
Are fed and sheltered by Love’s heart

So there’s a story in all of this perfection
For those in longest of hopeless days
Soon, so soon, His Light will pour forth
And release the loveliness of His ways

(in my e-book “Fragrance from the Spring”)

Songs of the Meadow

baby lamb

The little lamb lay silently
Beside the beating heart
A love so beautiful, so mystified
A bond too great to part

The little bird sung prettily
Upon the wind-blown nest
A song so pure, melodious
Through storm, it gave its best

The little bud, it smelt so sweet
On parent stem so grand
A fragrance oh! so heavenly
A touch from the Maker’s hand

The little boy, he walked so fine
Near meadow streams so clear
With opened eyes, he gleefully
Sensed His Saviour’s presence near

The little girl was soon by his side
Together hand in hand they strolled
Through glories of the wondrous beauty
A part of their Father’s fold
