Lost Love

It’s been just over a year since dear sweet Louie Bear was taken away from our hearts. We have been blessed with a totally different fursonality (and challenging purrfriend for Meeko) …  little darling Moose, and oh! what a character he is. No hugs for you, thank you very much; but adorable and loving in his own special way.

I am reposting this … to say … if you have ever wanted to tell someone you like them, you love them, you want to hug them, forgive them, or ask them for forgiveness … do it. Life is so precious, and we do not know the number of our days.

When you look into another’s eyes
Never presume it’ll be forever
Love locks two hearts together as one
To have loved is better than never

Life can bring joy, life can bring sorrow
The rains of summer turn into tears
A winter’s snow hides deep emotion
Spring and fall leave as another nears

Take a walk down your memory lane
Step into prints of those gone before
Love, it finally has its moment
My love, be prepared for what’s in store

When days turn into weeks and more years
Everything, nothing, ever changes
Love intense, ’cause one breath will be last
You’ll awake, they’re gone, nil exchanges

  1. Life can bring joy, life can bring sorrow

I hear some deep sadness here. Yet beautiful.

    1. Yes Kathleen. I just want everyone to reach out and hug the ones they love, man or animal. Love is so precious and you never know when it will be gone. I’m so thankful that the Father’s love is eternal. Hugs x
