ONE LOST LAMB (A Song About Love)

lamb looking into camera

Chorus
O Lamb of God
Lamb of Christ
One, He saves
One was lost

Lifted silently
No cry
Sweet Lamb and lamb
Prepared to die

Lord and Saviour
Strong Deliverer
Redeems, the
Wandering, lonesome one

A heart poured
Out, upon the Hilltop
Cleansing the way
For hopeless weariness

Chorus
O Lamb of God
Lamb of Christ
One, He saves
One was lost

Each piercing glance
Sheds love abroad
In receptive hearts
Of burdened souls

To the ends of the earth
No deviation
Gently leads home
Forgiven saints

Touching each and every
Head, He gifts with
Promises, and all that He
Abandoned, is lovingly restored

Chorus
O Lamb of God
Lamb of Christ
One, He saves
One was lost

And then He turns toward me
Our eyes stay locked, no key
The Lamb has found
That one lost lamb
And cradles me, lovingly

  1. Oh, yes – I want Him to find those lost lambs – every single one – just like He found me. I pray that He is more determined in their saving than they are in their running! This really hit my heart today, Liana!
