I’ve been in the desert
Where the sun refused to shine
The night went on forever
Till my life was no longer mine
The way before me, wasteland
The way behind, tragedy
My way, now lost and empty
My way, no longer what I need
This void that laughs around me
One more step and I’ll stumble in
‘Cause I’ve no longer searched for
The One who loves and guideth me
