WAVE AFTER WAVE AFTER WAVE
O Lord, I feel like I’m in the ocean
Being pounded by wave after wave
And I know in my heart, ‘tis You Lord
You Lord that only can save, can save
Every turn of my head sees them coming
Wave after wave after wave
But there in the distance I see You
My Lord, coming toward me to save
I am lost between all the commotion
I am lost, I am lost at sea
O Jesus, can You see my dilemma
You smile, take my hand, rescue me
******* ******* *******
TEMPTATION
Temptation has many faces
That hide within the crowd
Some pass by, lost in confusion
Some scream in your ear, so loud
O Lord, You know our very weakness
You know how we hate to sin
But sometimes the promise of gaiety
Burdens greatly and has its win
Please grasp our hands much tighter
Draw us away when temptation’s near
And may the look contained in Your eyes
Restrain us so we have nothing to fear

So beautiful! I just wrote about the ocean, too, today. Glad I did not get to yours until today….I feel connected to you somehow. Love you…this was wonderful.
